36 Journal Prompts for the Season of Reflection
As we head into Fall and Winter and the weather becomes cooler here in North America with less sunlight, it’s easy to move into hibernation mode, especially on top of the pandemic this year. To help process your emotions and your situation, I encourage you to bring a notebook with you to your cozy nook, writing for 2, 5, 10, 15+ minutes daily. Set a timer if you’d like, starting small.
You can get the disappointment, anger, fear, sadness and stress out of your head without judgement; capture small and big wins and celebrations with gratitude; and gain mental space to find a new perspective on yourself, your situation and a way forward that honors who you are.
You can also use the time to re-connect with who you are who you want to be, and start designing a future you desire.
Because a blank page can be tough, prompts can be useful to get your mind flowing and writing. No judgement on quality, just go for quantity and get everything out of your head, and see what other thoughts it leads to!
